My dad and I went to the used book sale tonight at the Neenah Public Library. I got several interesting books, but I'm most excited about Winston Churchill's A History of the English Speaking Peoples. I was hoping it might be there. My dad found vol. 1 and 4 right off when we went in, but we couldn't find volumes 2-3. I noticed vol. 3 on someone's pile of books - people just grab armloads of books and set them aside to look at later - and asked if I could get it from her since I had 2 of the 4 volumes. She said sure, so I looked around some more but couldn't find vol. 2. Until right before we left, when I noticed it on a cart loaded down with books. I traced down the used book store owner from Milwaukee who was up here and managed to complete my set. Yeah!!! And tomorrow's Friday which means Current Events and CNN Student News.
